The new Edinburgh Sunday Morning League season will kick off next month on the 16th August. Pre-season training will begin on the 12th July, and all players must be registered at least 3 days before the season starts. |

Fountainbridge brought an end to their debut season in the Edinburgh Sunday Morning league with a 2-2 draw with Meadowbank at the Jack Kane Centre today. Goals from Ian Fleming and Stephen Brown ensured a share of the spoils in what was probably a fair result.

13.05.09 Brige kick off Summer League with 8 goal draw
Fountainbridge began their Summer league campaign this evening at Edinburgh Academy against JP Morgan. An eight goal thriller saw the two teams end on level terms with Keith Alexander adding four more goals to his season's tally as the match ended 4-4.

10.05.09 Bridge friendly win abandoned after royal rumble
A comfortable 5-2 victory in todays friendly match for Fountainbridge against Edinburgh Star ended badly as the game was abandoned after 80 minutes, with the result standing for the men in Tangerine. A goal from top scorer Alexander followed by doubles from McCrindle and Davidson had Bridge in the lead at the Jack Kane Centre before fighting broke out between the two sides.

Fountainbridge recorded a narrow victory over Edinburgh Caledonian at the Gyle, courtesy of goals from Paul Christie and Barry Fearn. The league matched ended 2-1 to Fountainbridge to give the men in tangerine and black a welcome 3 points in the sun.

26.04.09 Fountainbridge FC Awards Night 2009
Friday 29th May Power Soccer Sighthill, 7pm start
Fountainbridge are proud to reveal the date for the 2nd annual awards evening to celebrate the success of the players and club for season 08/09. Last years event was a massive success, and all players attending enjoyed a great night, with the award winners all receiving fantastic trophies for their efforts. Tickets as per last year are £5 each and all players are asked to attend to support their team mates. Friends and family are welcomed also, please inform John as to how many tickets you require well in advance of the event. |

12.04.09 Bridge defeated in 7 goal thriller
Fountainbridge suffered a defeat in the Summer Cup as Gilmerton Star managed to get revenge for the hammering they succumbed to against The Bridge earlier in the season. A brace from top scorer Keith Alexander and a single strike from Stephen Brown were not enough as Star ran out 4-3 winners at the Jack Kane Centre.

Fountainbridge's inconsitent start to 2009 continued in the Spring Cup as they went down 4-1 to Gotham. A goal from Cossar was merely consolation after the men in Tangerine had already shipped four at the other end.
