We started our Summer League campaign on Wed night, we played against JP Morgan down at Edin Academy. It finished 4-4 after we went 2-0 down within the 1st 15mins against a very tall and athletic team. We fought back against the wind to bring it back to 2-2 at h/t with Keith getting both, including one after great work from Luigi. With the wind at our backs in the 2nd half we went 4-2 up with Keith getting another 2, another of which was set up by Luigi, with only around 20mins remaining, but 2 slack pieces of defending gave them 2 very easy goals to bring it to 4-4 with minutes left. A Keith shot was then blocked by their keeper, followed by an effort from Bo', it then bounced out and the clearance was blocked by John which fell to Broony who's great drive was palmed over the bar by one of their defenders for a pen and a red card with only 2mins to go. Keith showed his is human afterall and placed the spot kick high and wide of the target before
the inexperienced Ref blew for full time straight after the goal kick was taken, adding on no injury time whatsoever, even tho there were 4 subs, the penalty delay, and 2 head knocks in the 2nd half alone.
Full time 4-4.
